Installation of an automated 24-hour customer safe deposit system in a listed (heritage-protected) bank building.
As part of the complete renovation of the heritage-listed bank building, an automated 24/7 customer safe deposit system was planned and installed in close coordination with Imhotec. The project faced several challenges, including structural restrictions due to heritage protection, static requirements for floors and walls, and limited space on the ground floor.
The 24/7 safe deposit system was completed in December 2022 and has been in operation since January 1, 2023.
Raiffeisenbank Reitnau-Rued is a traditional advisory bank committed to offering its clients a comprehensive range of services on-site. As part of the complete renovation of its branch in Schöftland, the bank decided to install an automated 24/7 customer safe deposit system.
The vault system, consisting of the vault room, SafeStore Auto Maxi, SafeControl Manager, and double rack technology, was installed in a compact space on the ground floor, as the building is only partially basemented and no spaces could be utilized there. Thanks to the unique double rack technology of the Gunnebo SafeStore Auto system, over 400 compartments were realized on a total area smaller than that of a parking space.
Users of the 24/7 customer safe deposit system are highly satisfied with the facilities. They appreciate the round-the-clock access to their valuables.
